For an established Swiss trading company in Luzern, we are looking for an experienced Senior Workplace Engineer. You will take responsibility for a modern Microsoft workplace environment and actively help shape topics surrounding Intune, M365, Endpoint Security, and Client Lifecycle. For our client, an established Swiss trading company based in Luzern, we are looking for an experienced personality as a Senior Workplace Engineer (m/f/d) 100 %. In this role, you are responsible for the client platform from conception to stable operation and actively develop the modern workplace environment.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the client platform and a stable, secure device ecosystem
• Operation and further development of Microsoft Intune as well as the Windows Client Lifecycle
• Automation of software distribution and Patch Management
• Management of M365 devices including Compliance, Conditional Access, and Device Compliance
• Implementation of Endpoint Security, vulnerability management, and Client Hardening in cooperation with Information Security
• Ensuring security and compliance requirements
• Handling 2nd and 3rd level topics as well as responsibility for client-related projects
• Documentation of solutions, processes, and standards

Your profile

You have an IT education or a comparable qualification and several years of experience in the modern Microsoft workplace environment. Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft 365, and the Windows Client Lifecycle are very familiar to you. In addition, you bring experience with Endpoint Security/XDR, ideally Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Client Hardening, as well as security standards such as CIS. You use PowerShell for automation and standardization. Experience with compliance requirements or in a regulated environment is an advantage. Personally, you work in a structured, independent, and responsible manner and enjoy developing technical solutions.
