Reporting to the Financial Management, you ensure the steering of accounting activities and the management of an experienced team of 3 employees. You also contribute to the evolution of financial processes by participating in optimization and digitalization projects and the development of the MCH2 environment. Head of Accounting 100% Our client, a public organization in the Lausanne region, is looking for a Head of Accounting at 100% for a permanent position. Missions Supervise all accounting operations and guarantee the reliability of periodic and annual closings. Ensure treasury management, monitoring of financial flows, as well as compliance with tax and regulatory obligations. Manage, support, and develop an accounting team composed of several employees with complementary profiles. Act as a professional referent for the various departments and provide technical support on financial and accounting issues. Participate in budget preparation, financial analysis, and reporting work for management. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and the implementation of transformation and digitalization projects. Ensure the functional administration of the accounting ERP and ensure its optimal use. Accompany the organization in the evolution of its accounting practices and in the consolidation of new management standards and tools. Candidate Profile Federal Diploma of Specialization in Finance and Accounting, Bachelor's in Economics or equivalent training. Confirmed experience of 10 to 15 years in accounting, with solid operational skills in general accounting and closings. Previous experience within a public, parastatal administration or a similar institutional environment. First successful experience in team management or transverse coordination of accounting activities. Good mastery of public sector accounting standards and practices; experience related to an MCH2 project is a real asset. Excellent knowledge of VAT and financial control principles. Very good mastery of IT tools, notably Excel and a financial ERP such as Abacus. Perfect mastery of French (level C2), both written and oral. Pedagogical personality, capable of supporting teams, explaining financial issues, and collaborating with multiple interlocutors. Continuous improvement mindset, interest in optimization projects, and ability to evolve processes in a transforming environment. Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to evolve in a high-visibility internal trust role.
