To strengthen our Group IT team, we are looking for you as a communicative Application Manager SAP SD (m/f/d). Your professional focus lies in the support, further development, and optimization of our SAP sales processes. At the same time, you are open to getting to know, supporting, and further developing other sales-related third-party applications in the construction industry together with the business.

Your place of work is our headquarters in the Ambassador House in Opfikon, with the possibility to also work partly from home.

Tasks: ###

• In this role, you take responsibility for the support, further development, and lifecycle management of applications in the sales area, with a clear focus on SAP SD.
• You analyze requirements from the operative business units, evaluate them technically and professionally, and translate them into viable solution concepts.
• In addition, you create specifications, coordinate tests, accompany releases, and ensure a stable application landscape together with internal and external partners.
• You support the optimization and harmonization of sales processes in the SAP environment, particularly in the areas of customer orders, invoicing, interfaces, and adjacent processes.
• As a central interface, you act between business key users, operative business units, Group IT specialist departments, and external suppliers, working closely with 1rd-level support and external implementation partners and coordinating the sustainable solution of incidents, changes, and smaller developments.
• You actively contribute your SAP SD depth, but are simultaneously prepared to familiarize yourself with further third-party applications in the construction industry and take over their professional and technical support.
• You contribute to application governance and support the value-adding, stable, and future-oriented further development of our system landscape.

Requirements: ###

• You have completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification and bring several years of experience in application management, consulting, or the support of SAP SD processes.
• You possess sound knowledge in SAP SD, ideally including customizing understanding, process analysis, test coordination, and interfaces to adjacent SAP modules.
• You understand sales processes holistically, capture requirements from the business in a structured manner, and translate them into suitable IT solutions.
• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with further third-party applications in addition to SAP SD, especially in applications for supporting business processes in the construction industry.
• You work analytically, solution-oriented, and structured, and maintain an overview even when dealing with several parallel topics.
• You communicate confidently with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners and see yourself as a connecting interface between the specialist department and IT.
• You act in a customer-oriented manner, take responsibility, and have a good sense for stable, pragmatic, and sustainable solutions.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English.
