Your tasks:

• Technical and commercial advice for our industrial customers
• Support and targeted further development of existing customer relationships
• Active new customer acquisition and exploitation of new market potentials
• Analysis of customer applications and development of technically and economically suitable solutions
• Independent processing and further development of your sales territory
• Accompanying customer projects from technical clarification to successful completion
• Creation and follow-up of offers in cooperation with the internal sales department
• Close cooperation with our technical service department and the production plants
• Observation of market, competition and technological developments
• Maintenance of sales activities and customer information in CRM and SAP
• Participation in forecasts and budgeting as well as conducting customer seminars and events

Your profile:

• Completed technical training, for example as a toolmaker, polymechanic or a comparable technical qualification
• Ideally further training in the field of sales or business administration
• Several years of experience in technical sales or field service, ideally at least 5 years
• Good understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and technical customer applications
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatment
• Knowledge in the areas of tool steel, stainless steel, surface technology, toolmaking and metalworking
• Strong customer and solution orientation as well as enjoyment of active new customer acquisition
• Negotiation skills and closing strength
• High degree of personal responsibility and an independent, structured way of working
• Communicative, empathetic and reliable personality
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and CRM systems is an advantage
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good English skills
• Driver's license category B
