As a healthcare professional, you are an important reference person in daily ward life: Through your presence in the milieu, your empathy and your professional skills, you contribute to conveying security, promoting resources and actively supporting the recovery process. Your tasks • You care for and accompany our patients in everyday life and support them professionally in their psychiatric treatment • You carry out nursing and medical-technical activities independently within the scope of your competencies • You observe changes in the well-being of the patients and actively contribute your observations to the treatment process • Together with the interprofessional team, you work according to current nursing standards and make an important contribution to high-quality care • You document your services carefully and support professional and safe treatment planning • You actively contribute to the team and contribute to an appreciative, therapeutic atmosphere on the ward Your profile • You possess a federal certificate of proficiency (eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis) as a healthcare professional (FaGe) • Ideally, you already have experience in psychiatry or want to discover this exciting specialist field for yourself • You meet people with appreciation, patience and empathy and create trust - even in challenging situations • You enjoy working independently as well as interprofessionally and take responsibility for your tasks • You are open to new things and want to continuously develop yourself professionally and personally • You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing The UPZ As a university clinic, the Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
