We are looking for a Medical Assistant for our Pre-Anesthesia Consultation at 90% Key information about the position: Reference: CLS/RH/ / Type of contract: CDI at 90% (1 variable day off every 2 weeks) / Hours: Monday to Friday according to 2 schedules: 7h45-16h45 / 8h00-17h00 / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop « Riponne » or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop « Beaulieu-Jomini ») Why do we need you? To support the activity of our Pre-Anesthesia Consultation, we are looking for a Medical Assistant who will contribute to offering each patient·e a calm, personalized, and high-quality care experience. As a true interface between patient·es, anesthesiologist doctors, and external partners, you will evolve within an engaged team where your technical expertise, your sense of organization, and your interpersonal skills will make the difference. What will you be expected to do? Ensure the physical and telephone reception of patient·es, their relatives, and various interlocutors, while guaranteeing professional and caring care. Organize and coordinate pre-anesthesia consultation appointments. Compile, check, and prepare patient·es' medical files. Assist anesthesiologist doctors during consultations and contribute to the smooth running of care. Perform medico-technical acts within the scope of the medical assistant's competencies, notably blood tests, electrocardiograms (ECG), Uricult, urine sticks, and naso-pharyngeal swabs, upon prescription or medical request (approximately 10% of the activity). Ensure the entry of services for billing purposes. Manage incoming and outgoing mail as well as the dispatch of files to prescribing practices. Ensure the management of stocks of equipment and medical consumables, ensure their replenishment, and carry out necessary orders. Who will you work with? The team includes two dynamic and complementary medical assistants, who collaborate closely with the anesthesiologist doctors. What do we expect from you? Essentials: CFC as a Medical Assistant or training deemed equivalent and recognized in Switzerland. Experience in an activity combining reception, administrative management, and medico-technical acts. Proficiency in blood sampling, electrocardiograms (ECG), and other technical acts within the scope of the medical assistant's competencies. Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills. Sense of service, interpersonal ease, and ability to establish a climate of trust with patient·es. Rigor, autonomy, and discretion in the management of medical information. Ease with IT tools and patient file management software. Excellent command of French, both oral and written. Your assets: Experience in pre-anesthesia consultation, anesthesia, or in a hospital or clinic environment. Knowledge of the patient pathway in ambulatory surgery or an operating environment. Proficiency in DPI, computerized patient file (Clevehr) and/or medical billing software (Opale). Knowledge of one or more foreign languages, notably English.
