Bern, Switzerland \| 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Independently calculate, check, and decide on the approval or rejection of cross-border commuter settlements within the framework of the bilateral agreements with the EU/EFTA states • Ensure correct financial processing and invoicing with the EU/EFTA states • Manage the financial accounting of the ALV compensation office in the areas of accounts receivable and accounts payable, and participate in monthly and annual closings • Support the liquidity planning of the ALV fund and ensure financial advances to the unemployment insurance • Provide technical information to Swiss and foreign authorities • Participation in projects and in the preparation of specialist reports <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Commercial training with further education as a specialist in social insurance or accounting • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field • Enjoyment of complex financial issues as well as an exact and analytical approach • Very good user knowledge of MS-Office and SAP; knowledge of the basics of the free movement of persons with the EU is an advantage • Independent and reliable way of working with a high level of personal responsibility • Good oral and written knowledge of two official languages as well as English skills for cooperation with international partners <br /> In a nutshell The Directorate for Work of SECO is part of the federal competence center for all core issues of labor market policy and unemployment insurance (ALV). The Labor Market / Unemployment Insurance service area is responsible for the Unemployment Insurance Act. As part of the Finance and Controlling department, the Freedom of Movement and Maternity Insurance group is responsible for ensuring the correct implementation of the bilateral agreements with the EU/EFTA states in the area of the free movement of persons. You will take responsibility for the financial processing of cross-border commuter settlements and work in an international environment with domestic and foreign partners.
