Your task
As Team Leader Economy, you are responsible for the professional, personnel, and organizational leadership of the kitchen area. In the future, you will additionally take over the management of the Lingerie, Cleaning, and Technical Service areas.
Together with your team, you ensure that supported persons, employees, and guests feel completely comfortable.

Your tasks include:

• Leadership, promotion, and development of the economy team.
• Ensuring professional kitchen operations with varied and balanced catering.
• Participation in daily operational business.
• Planning and organization of internal and public events, general assemblies, helper dinners, and other events.
• Further development of processes in the areas of kitchen, housekeeping, and infrastructure.
• Promotion of cross-departmental cooperation within Wohnhuus Meilihof.
• Responsibility for quality, hygiene, occupational safety, and economical use of resources.
• Participation in operations management and active co-shaping of organizational development.
• Support in the establishment and support of training positions in the kitchen.

What you bring with you

You are a down-to-earth, practice-oriented leader and lend a hand wherever support is needed. You know how to motivate people and find good solutions together with your team.

In addition, you bring:

• Training as Koch/Köchin EFZ, ideally with further training as Diätkoch/Diätköchin or corresponding experience.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience.
• Joy in active participation in daily business.
• Interest and understanding for housekeeping tasks and processes.
• Technical understanding and openness to working with the Technical Service.
• Organizational skill as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
• Joy in cross-team cooperation.
• Flexibility and willingness to also take on unusual assignments occasionally.
• Appreciative communication and a solution-oriented basic attitude.
