Job Description ### Our client is looking for a committed and qualified individual for the position of Quality Inspector. In this role, you will undertake a central task of ensuring the highest quality standards for compressor components. If you have a solid background in the field of mechanical engineering and a keen eye for detail, we look forward to receiving your application. Your main task will consist of operating and programming 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM). You will independently carry out quality controls and inspections on various compressor components, create corresponding test reports, evaluate measurement results, and initiate necessary follow-up measures. Additionally, your responsibility includes the creation and management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as well as metrological support for internal and external team members. For this position, you require completed training as a polymechanic or mechanical engineer, as well as sound training and experience in metrology and quality inspection. Confident handling of 3D coordinate measuring machines is essential, with programming knowledge specifically for Hexagon-CMM being an advantage. Experience in handling overhead cranes for parts up to 20 tons as well as good computer skills, particularly in Office365, SAP, and WAY, are also required. You should have a confident command of the German language in speaking and writing and be willing to work in a two-shift operation. In your daily work, you will perform precise measurements and quality inspections using modern tools and devices. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure compliance with quality standards, document and analyze inspection results, and contribute to continuous improvement within the department.
