About the position
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Brand to drive global growth and activation of the Cacao Barry brand in international markets while acting as the guardian of the Callebaut Masters of Taste brand platform. As a senior individual contributor, you will translate brand strategy into impactful campaigns, sales enablement tools, activation frameworks, and brand governance programs that support business growth and brand consistency across more than 50 markets.
In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Regional, R&D, Digital, Finance, Corporate Communications teams, and external partners to ensure successful brand deployment, market activation, and performance tracking. You will play a key role in strengthening Cacao Barry's premium positioning while enabling sales teams and distributors to bring the brand to life through compelling customer experiences and world-class brand execution.
The position is a maternity leave replacement from 01/09/2026 to 31/01/2027.
Key responsibilities include
• Define and execute the global growth strategy and activation roadmap for Cacao Barry in international markets, ensuring clear positioning and differentiation.
• Develop and maintain a "global backbone, local relevance" framework, providing brand guidelines and guardrails that ensure consistency while allowing for market adaptation.
• Lead portfolio architecture and market-by-market go-to-market support, including SKU prioritization, portfolio journeys, and channel-specific brand support models.
• Create and maintain sales enablement tools, including sales presentations, distributor support, objection handling guides, and value proposition frameworks.
• Translate brand strengths and innovations into compelling messages tailored to specific audiences such as pastry chefs, chocolatiers, artisanal professionals, distributors, and HoReCa customers.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams and distributors to drive market activation initiatives, training programs, workshops, trade shows, and customer engagement activities in priority markets.
• Lead the end-to-end development and execution of global marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across digital and offline channels while adapting content to local needs.
• Design and deliver training programs that equip sales, regional, and distributor teams with the knowledge and tools necessary to successfully activate brands in the market.
• Ensure performance monitoring and reporting, developing dashboards and insights that measure business impact, brand adoption, and commercial effectiveness.
• Act as the guardian of the Masters of Taste brand platform, maintaining key brand assets, guidelines, and governance processes across the organization.
• Build and manage brand knowledge resources, review regional brand executions, and continuously improve tools, guidelines, and best practices to strengthen global brand consistency and adoption.
About you
• 7 to 10 years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or trade marketing, with a significant portion in B2B and/or in premium food or ingredient sectors. Experience in the chocolate or fine products industry is a plus.
• Master's in marketing, business, brand management, or equivalent; or bachelor's degree with equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end brand strategy workflows and translating them into tangible deliverables (toolkit kits, campaign frameworks, guidelines).
• Experience in creating sales enablement tools: presentations, practical guides, objection handling guides, distributor support.
• Comfortable managing multiple workflows simultaneously across different geographies and timelines, with limited direct support.
• Experience working in or with international matrixed and cross-functional organizations - influence without authority.
• Exposure to corporate brand management and/or brand governance is a plus (in addition to experience in portfolio or product brand management).
• Proficiency in English required (written and oral). French is a significant asset.
