Your responsibility:

• Implementation of offense-preventative, psychotherapeutic treatments for adolescents and young adults, both inpatient and outpatient (incl. diagnostics, prognostics, reporting, documentation and, if necessary, crisis intervention)
• Active cooperation and interdisciplinary networking, particularly within the interdisciplinary core treatment team (social pedagogy and vocational training)
• Advising and supporting the social pedagogical and work-agogic sectors in risk-related as well as diagnostic issues and in the presence of mental disorders
• (Co-)leadership of group therapies
• Participation in placement assessments

Your background:

• Completed degree in psychology
• Started or already completed additional psychotherapeutic training
• Clinical or forensic prior experience
• Interest in forensic issues and modern forensic treatment principles as well as in long-term and complex treatment processes
• Risk-oriented way of working with a simultaneously promoting and appreciative attitude towards the admitted persons
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary working methods
• Possession of driving license B and an irreproachable reputation

Das MZjE Arxhof is an institution of the Nordwest- und Innerschweizer Strafvollzugskonkordat and provides space for 46 young male offenders between 17 and 25 years old. Das MZjE Arxhof imparts the ability for independent and offense-free living to adolescents and young adults through pedagogical and therapeutic measures as well as vocational training.
