The Department of Community Medicine and Primary Care (DMCPR) has a social mission to enable access to quality care for all through proximity medicine, to ensure the management of medical and surgical emergencies, to promote prevention among citizens, to provide medical knowledge to judicial investigations, and to promote the health of travelers. The Prison Medicine Service offers quality care to detained persons in the prisons of the Republic and the Canton of Genève while applying the rules of medical law and professional ethics. It develops prevention and health promotion actions in the prison environment. You will be integrated into an Ambulatory Penitentiary Unit (category A according to ISFM) and will ensure, within a multidisciplinary team, the psychological and psychotherapeutic follow-up of adolescents admitted to La Clairière. This position provides access to the post-graduate training in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy of the OMP and to all the services provided within the framework of this training. The Prison Medicine Service also offers active support in the field of research and teaching. Job Description ## In light of your training background for obtaining your title in psychiatry and psychotherapy, you will integrate a care unit of the department and ensure, within a multidisciplinary team, the ambulatory psychiatric and psychotherapeutic follow-up of adolescents at La Clairière. In parallel with your activity, you will benefit from a high-quality post-graduate clinical and structured training according to the requirements of the FMH for obtaining the title of specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy. You will also have the possibility to participate in ongoing research activities at the service level. You can also benefit from support to complete a doctoral thesis. Qualifications ## You hold a federal diploma as a doctor or have training considered equivalent by the Commission of Medical Professions of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). Previous experience in the field of psychiatry and/or somatic medicine is an asset. For non-French speakers, a French level C1 in spoken and written tests is required.
