As part of the Department of Education of the Canton of Zürich, the Office for Youth and Career Counseling is responsible for services in the field of child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. At the center of our work are children, adolescents, and families. We advocate for them every day with a lot of passion and commitment. For kjz Bülach, we are looking for the following starting immediately or by arrangement: Social Worker FH 80% temporary until 31 December 2026 with the option of extension with the following tasks: • Implementation of civil law child protection measures and of investigations on behalf of the KESB • Clarifying concerns as well as counseling mothers, fathers, children, and adolescents • Coordinating and initiating supporting measures • Networking with other services in the field of child and youth welfare For this demanding task, we are looking for a committed and resilient personality with: • Degree from a University of Applied Sciences in Social Work (mandatory) • Experience in youth and family welfare as well as in mandate management • Further training in systemic / solution-oriented counseling is an advantage • Mediation and communication skills, good written and oral expression skills and • Enjoyment of administrative activities We offer you an interesting, demanding activity in a varied and lively working environment a supportive, interdisciplinary team from social work, psychology, health, administration, and law.
