Non-Destructive Testing Technician

Axepta is looking for, for one of its clients based in the Montreux region and active in the aerospace sector, a Non-Destructive Testing Technician – NDT Level II (M/F).

You will work on the inspection of parts, mechanical welded assemblies, and composite panels intended for aerospace applications, in an environment demanding in terms of quality, traceability, and compliance.

Non-Destructive Testing Technician - Receiving (M/F)

Your main missions will be:

• Perform non-destructive testing in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements.
• Perform fluorescent and/or color penetrant testing to detect surface defects.
• Perform eddy current testing using probes to identify cracks and discontinuities.
• Perform ultrasonic testing according to your certifications and current procedures.
• Interpret testing results and rule on the compliance of parts.
• Identify, document, and report any non-conformities.
• Write inspection reports and ensure the traceability of the operations performed.
• Guarantee compliance with quality requirements specific to the aerospace sector.

Profile sought

You hold a COFREND Level II certification in one or more NDT methods.

Ideally, you have experience in an industrial, laboratory, or production environment working on mechanical welded parts and/or composite materials, preferably in the aeronautical, space, or defense sectors.

You master one or more of the following techniques: penetrant testing, eddy current, ultrasonic testing.

Experience with composite panels, sandwich structures, or parts intended for aerospace is a real asset.
