Registered Nurse Gerontopsychiatry Horw

As a registered nurse HF/FH, you will take on a responsible role in specialized long-term care in gerontopsychiatry in the Lucerne area, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a workload of 40 to 100%, you will professionally accompany older people with mental illnesses, promote their quality of life, and actively contribute to quality development in the interdisciplinary team.

• Professional care and accompaniment of residents with psychiatric diagnoses and dementia
• Cooperation with nursing experts and interprofessional services for continuous quality development
• Confident action in complex situations as well as passing on specialist knowledge within the team
• Participation in competence building in gerontopsychiatry and in nursing care
• Taking responsibility for careful documentation in modern systems

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a registered nurse HF or FH or equivalent training such as DN II, BSc Nursing, examined nursing specialist, health and nurse (Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegerin) or DGKP
• Professional experience in psychiatry, geriatrics, dementia or gerontopsychiatry
• High technical and social competence as well as confident action in challenging situations
• Very good German language skills and enjoyment of patient-oriented care
