Your task ##

• Operation, monitoring and continuous further development of modern server, network and cloud infrastructures in diverse customer environments
• Installation, configuration and administration of Windows and Linux servers as well as virtualization platforms based on VMware and Hyper-V
• Implementation and support of reliable backup, recovery and monitoring solutions to ensure stable IT operations
• Configuration, administration and optimization of complex network infrastructures with a focus on routing, switching, VLANs and firewalls
• Support and further development of Microsoft 365, Exchange and Exchange Online as well as integration of modern cloud services
• Implementation, administration and optimization of cloud infrastructures based on AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
• Independent participation in the planning, implementation and further development of demanding national and international IT infrastructure projects
• Active participation in technical architecture decisions with a focus on security, high availability and scalability, as well as the further development of existing IT services

Your profile ##

• Completed training as an Informatiker/in EFZ with specialization in platform development or system engineering
• Sound practical experience in system engineering as well as in the operation and further development of demanding server, network and cloud infrastructures
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux as well as practical experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Sound know-how in backup and monitoring solutions as well as good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange and Exchange Online
• Practical experience with at least one of the cloud platforms AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies, especially TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs and firewalls
• Strong analytical skills, high personal responsibility as well as an independent, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
• Proficient German skills (C2), very good English skills (B2), valid driver's license category B as well as willingness to travel within Switzerland
