As a proven specialist, you will take on technical responsibility in a central role for the electronic hardware of our sensors and measuring devices. In doing so, you will develop new solutions, optimize existing products, and ensure that our electronics function reliably even under demanding operating conditions. In our team, you will work closely with other specialists from electronics, firmware, measurement technology, testing, design, and other areas. From the first idea to series maturity, you will accompany products and contribute your expertise where technically demanding questions need to be solved. This is what you get up for in the morning: * Development of demanding analog and digital electronics for our sensor and measuring devices * Conception, design, and dimensioning of electronic circuits with a sound understanding of their behavior and limits * Design and review of PCB layouts considering signal integrity, impedances, decoupling, crosstalk, as well as ground and power concepts * Planning and execution of meaningful measurements for the characterization, verification, and optimization of circuits and electronic systems * Cooperation with internal technical specialists throughout the entire product development process * Development of robust, EMC-compliant electronics as well as suitable protection concepts, for example against ESD, burst, and surge * Technical support for demanding electronic questions from development, testing, quality, and production * If you bring firmware experience, you can additionally contribute to firmware development and support our firmware team with development tasks. This is what we wish from you: * Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering (FH, ETH) or an equivalent technical qualification * Several years of experience in the development of electronic hardware, ideally for sensors, measuring, or industrial products * Very good knowledge of discrete analog and digital circuit technology and a pronounced understanding of the real behavior of electronic circuits * Experience with common ECAD tools and understanding of the entire PCB creation process up to the manufacturing data * Sound experience in the measurement technology characterization of electronic circuits -- You know how measurements are correctly set up, carried out, and interpreted and where typical measurement errors lurk * Experience in the analysis and troubleshooting of electronic systems * Sound know-how in EMC-compliant design and in the application of appropriate measurement technology * Understanding of product development, industrialization, and series production * Good German and good English skills * Independent, structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working.
