October 2026 or by arrangement Employment type: Permanent Reference number: 71260 In Perioperative Medicine at the Institute for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine of the Klinik Hirslanden in Zürich, you prepare our patients optimally for the upcoming surgery and, if necessary, also accompany them postoperatively as part of our Acute Pain Service. To complement our team, we are looking for you as a Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF 80-100% for the area of Perioperative Medicine and Acute Pain Service. YOUR TASKS ## in Perioperative Medicine • You prepare patients optimally for the upcoming surgery or anesthesia and coordinate necessary measures. • You organize and coordinate patient records as well as clarifications in close cooperation with attending and private physicians. • You carry out relevant controls and treatments as part of Patient Blood Management, including iron infusions according to medical prescription. • You plan, organize, and accompany the anesthesia consultations. • You take on administrative tasks and are the first point of contact for questions regarding anesthesia. in the Acute Pain Service • You care for patients with acute and chronic pain in the perioperative environment. • You plan, carry out, and evaluate pain rounds independently and support the adjustment of pain therapy. • You work closely with anesthesiologists and attending and private physicians. • You advise and support nursing staff on pain therapeutic issues. • You conduct training and ensure high-quality pain treatment according to current standards. YOUR PROFILE ## • You are a Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF and have at least five years of professional experience in the acute care sector. • Experience in a monitoring or intensive care unit is an advantage. • Ideally, you have further training in pain management or are willing to complete it. • You convince through strong communication skills, independence, assertiveness, and teamwork. • You have good IT skills as well as very good German and English skills.
