Scientific Associate in Geotechnics and Special Civil Engineering Works

Your fields of activity with us

• Lead and carry out applied research projects in geotechnics and special works
• Plan, coordinate and analyze in situ geotechnical tests
• Acquire new projects and advise clients on technical issues
• Accompany technical collaborators and scientific assistants in their field of specialization
• Support teaching, continuing education and the transfer of knowledge towards practice

The place of work will likely be in Bienne from the autumn semester 2028

Your background, ideally

• University degree in civil engineering or geology
• Several years of professional experience in geotechnics, ideally in the field of in situ geotechnical tests
• Solid knowledge of geotechnical dimensioning according to Eurocode 7 (EC7) or SIA standards
• Experience in project management as well as an autonomous and structured way of working
• Very good knowledge of English and French. Mastery of German desired
