As Head of IT, you will shape the technological direction of our company and further develop IT as a powerful, secure, and proactive business enabler. You will create reliable structures, set strategic priorities, and, together with the specialist departments, ensure the technical prerequisites for digitalization, automation, and the targeted use of AI.

For our successful team in Urdorf, we are looking for a committed and strong leadership personality as Head of IT 100% starting January 1, 2027, or by arrangement.

What you will move: * You will further lead and develop the IT organization personally and professionally and create clear roles, responsibilities, and competencies.

• You will develop IT from a technical service provider into a proactive business enabler and, together with the specialist departments, translate business needs into realistic, secure, and economical solution options
• You are responsible for the IT strategy and the technological roadmap and align these consistently with the corporate strategy
• You plan and control the IT budget, IT master plan, and IT portfolio and prioritize investments according to business benefit, risks, and strategic relevance
• You lead and promote Business Applications Management as a central interface between specialist departments and IT and ensure value-oriented further development of the application portfolio
• You are responsible for the overall architecture and define binding standards for technologies, integration, and data flows
• Together with external service providers, you ensure a stable, secure, and economical IT operation
• You manage information security, authorization concepts, IT risks, and business continuity in cooperation with the CISO, data protection, specialist departments, and external partners
• You manage external service providers professionally and are responsible for contract, SLA, license, and sourcing management
• As a member of the Digital Project Board, you contribute architecture, security, integration, operational capability, and IT resources bindingly to the prioritization of the project portfolio
• Together with the Head of Digital & AI Transformation, you create the secure, integrated, and scalable technical prerequisites for digitalization, automation, and AI initiatives

What defines you: * You have a university degree (university or technical college) in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field of study.

• You have at least ten years of relevant IT experience, including several years in a leadership role with responsibility for strategy, organization, budget, and external partners
• You have demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of IT strategies, roadmaps, and architectures
• You possess sound knowledge of IT architecture, integration, technology standards, IT security, authorization concepts, risk management, and business continuity
• You are experienced in managing external service providers as well as in contract, SLA, and sourcing management
• You have experience in managing complex IT and transformation projects as well as their sustainable transition into operations
• You have a strong understanding of business and processes and the ability to translate business requirements into viable technological solution options
• You convince with strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills and work effectively with different specialist departments and stakeholders
• You communicate confidently in German and English; French language skills are an advantage. Experience in the retail or commercial environment is also welcome.
