• IT - Software Engineering • Zug • Contracting • Part-time, 80-100% • as soon as possible - 31.12.2026 with option for extension • Data Engineer, Databricks, ETL, Data Warehouse Your tasks: • Development, operation and continuous further development of modern data warehouse solutions • Conception, implementation and optimization of scalable data pipelines and central data flows • Ensuring a stable, high-performance and high-quality data operation • Analysis of complex business requirements and development of data-based solutions for different departments • Modeling and integration of data from various source systems • Optimization of existing ETL/ELT processes in terms of performance, maintainability and data quality • Collaboration on the modernization of data platforms and the migration of existing data solutions to cloud environments • Close cooperation with departments, data analysts and other stakeholders to implement new data requirements • Support in the continuous further development of the data architecture and technical standards Your profile: • Several years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Data Warehouse • In-depth experience in building, further developing and operating data warehouse solutions • Very good knowledge of SQL as well as development and optimization of ETL/ELT processes • Experience in data modeling, for example according to Data Vault • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, ideally in the Microsoft Azure environment • Knowledge of Azure Databricks or comparable modern data engineering platforms • Analytical thinking as well as the ability to translate complex business requirements into sustainable data solutions • Experience in modernizing data landscapes and migrating legacy systems is a plus • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working • Communication strength as well as pleasure in working with interdisciplinary teams • High degree of initiative and sense of responsibility • Fluent in German and English
