Your mission
As a Microsoft Systems Engineer, you are the technical reference for FHVi's Microsoft ecosystem. You intervene in the design, operation, security, and evolution of Windows Server, Active Directory, and associated services platforms.
Within the Systems team, you actively contribute to the standardization, simplification, and automation of environments, ensuring the application of best practices and the consistency of architectures.
Your responsibilities
Microsoft Expertise & platform evolution
- Act as the technical reference for the FHVi Microsoft ecosystem: Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange, PKI.
- Design, operate, and evolve directory services (AD DS, GPO, forests and domains), messaging (Exchange on-premise and hybrid), RDS farms, and internal PKI (ADCS).
- Standardize and automate system environments (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, OpCon), ensuring the application of best practices and the consistency of architectures.
Operation, security & service continuity
- Guarantee the stability, availability, and supervision of Microsoft infrastructures in production, and provide level 3 support in compliance with defined service levels.
- Manage the lifecycle of Microsoft components: planning updates, upgrades, decommissioning obsolete systems.
- Contribute, in collaboration with the CISO, to the securing of infrastructures: hardening, identity and access management, Microsoft security solutions (Defender), vulnerability and patch management.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery plans (PCA / PRA) and participate in the on-call service according to the current procedures.
- Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to ensure the sustainability of knowledge within the team.
Projects & continuous improvement
- Participate in projects for the transformation and modernization of infrastructures and contribute to the definition of technical roadmaps.

- Higher education in computer science (Bachelor or Master, HES/EPF Engineer or an equivalent title).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong specialization in Microsoft, ideally in a critical, complex, and multi-site environment.
Technical skills
- Advanced expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem: Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, PKI, WSUS, RDS farms.
- Good knowledge of VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, cluster and resource management).
- Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Good knowledge of backup solutions and restoration strategies.
