For the strategic and operational realignment of our building administration, we are looking for a methodologically skilled and strong leadership personality who will drive our projects forward with a modern spirit and agile methodology. Your tasks In this key position, you will lead the building construction part of the Department of Construction and Planning: Team Leadership: Technical and personnel management of a well-coordinated team. Agile Transformation: As one of your first core tasks, you will introduce agile working methods and tools (such as Jira) to optimize project tracking and transparency within the administration. Building Permit System: You are responsible for the legally compliant processing of all procedures according to Aargau cantonal law – from initial consultation to the decision. Strategic Consulting: You support the Municipal Council and the Building Commission as a technical authority in building and planning law issues. Interface Management: Professional cooperation with cantonal authorities, planning offices, and the residents. Your profile: Qualification: You possess the diploma DAS Öffentliches Gemeinwesen (Fachkompetenz Bauverwalter/in) or a comparable qualification recognized in the Canton of Aargau, or you bring the readiness to complete this qualification as soon as possible. Leadership & Methods: You bring sound experience in team leadership. Agile methods are not new territory to you; you have the drive to actively introduce them in an administration. You have the corresponding proof of performance or are ready to acquire it promptly. IT Affinity: Confident handling of CMI and project management software as well as the ability to model digital processes. Legal Certainty: Sound knowledge of building and planning law (Canton Aargau) as well as a confident appearance in the political environment. Personality: You are a strong communicator, negotiation-confident, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
