Specialist in Childcare, Schule Apfelbaum, 38 %

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Specialist in Childcare in the Apfelbaum childcare service, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You support the childcare teams with your pedagogical specialist knowledge in everyday life and maintain a cool head even in challenging situations
• You perform the workload of 38% on two days per week (Monday and Tuesday from 10.00-18.00). The assignments are basically in the childcare facilities on the school grounds
• You work with kindergarten and primary school children (up to 6th grade) and accompany them in regular operations, in holiday childcare, as well as in childcare on school-free days

Profile ##

• Completion of EFZ Specialist in Childcare (for applications with a foreign diploma/certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily enclosed)
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Joy in dealing with people of different cultures and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

Schule Apfelbaum includes a morning childcare and five lunch/evening childcares. In these childcare premises, a total of around 470 students from kindergarten to middle school age are fed and supervised. The opening hours of the lunch and evening childcares are from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00.
