Deputy Physician with Specialty Title in Pediatric Radiology or Chief of Clinic for In-Depth Training in Pediatric Radiology - 100%

The radiology department is looking for a deputy physician or a chief of clinic with a specialty title to assist the aggregated deputy physician, responsible for the pediatric radiology unit, for the coordination and development of clinical diagnostic and research activities in this field. You supervise the consultation activity and the interpretation of examinations in the pediatric radiology unit and ensure the responsibility and development of this unit. You ensure the proper functioning of the unit in terms of quality and deadline of services and supervision of employees. You participate in on-call and standby activities in pediatric radiology. You guarantee a good interface with other units and sectors of the pediatric and radiology services, as well as other clinical services of HUG. You participate in pre/post-graduate and continuing teaching in radiology. You monitor and contribute to the development of high-quality research within the unit in the field of pediatric radiology. You contribute to the development of collaboration projects in the field of pediatric radiology with the radiology service, and other services of the diagnostic department and other HUG departments. You hold a federal diploma as a physician as well as an FMH specialist title in radiology or equivalent titles recognized in Switzerland. If your diploma comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the Commission of Medical Professions of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and your diploma is registered in the Medical Professions Register (MedReg). For the deputy physician title, you also hold a doctoral thesis. You have a cantonal Geneva independent practice license. You master the French language (spoken and written - level C1) which is essential. For non-Francophone applications, a French level C1 is required in the spoken and written test. You have recognized clinical experience in the field of pediatric radiology and can justify skills in supervising a clinical team. You have leadership qualities that allow you to supervise interns and clinic heads and support and motivate staff. The Diagnostic Department, composed of eight medical services, has the mission of providing high-quality medical diagnoses, therapeutic products, therapeutic acts, and specialized clinical consultations, within the best deadlines and at an acceptable cost, to guide patient care and contribute to therapeutic decisions and actions. The Radiology Service has as its main mission the realization of diagnostic radiology examinations and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of different imaging techniques. This clinical activity includes around 220,000 examinations and 5,000 diagnostic and therapeutic acts per year, a significant part of which is provided in a 24/24h rhythm. The medical team of the Radiology Service also animates more than 300 multidisciplinary colloquia per month, in a daily, weekly, or monthly rhythm.
