October 2026 or by arrangement The Psychotherapy Day Clinic (PTK) of the University Psychiatric Center (UPZ) offers specialized care for people under psychological strain in difficult life circumstances. It is aimed at patients for whom outpatient therapy is not sufficient, but who do not require inpatient treatment. In the PTK, people with depressions, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders as well as post-traumatic stress disorders are treated in particular. The therapeutic work in the PTK is based on a multi-layered treatment concept that integratively combines different psychotherapeutic basic attitudes as well as general disorder-specific active factors of psychotherapy. The therapy program includes elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as emotion-focused therapy. Treatment and care are ensured by a dedicated, collegial team, which you would very much like to join yourself. The PTK also offers regulated working hours during usual office hours and thus provides you with a predictable everyday working life. Your tasks • You ensure individual, professional care and accompany our patients through complex recovery processes • In acute crisis situations, you act confidently and with empathy - your calm and professional competence make the difference • As a reference person, you take responsibility for the entire nursing process and contribute significantly to continuity in therapy • You lead patient groups such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, skills, sports, etc. • In the interdisciplinary team, you work closely with specialists from various disciplines to achieve the best possible result for our patients and to actively promote self-efficacy Your profile • You have a diploma as a nursing professional HF/FH and mandatory experience in psychiatric nursing • Your empathy and high professional competence make you a valuable support for our patients and their relatives • Even in challenging situations, you remain calm and composed, show initiative and take responsibility • You value teamwork and actively contribute your ideas - shared successes motivate you • A careful, independent way of working is a matter of course for you, and you enjoy mastering everyday life with a healthy amount of humor • You have completed DBT further training or are willing to do so The UPZ As a university clinic, the University Psychiatric Center Bern (UPZ) is the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
