Quality Assurance Engineer

The role covers quality assurance for manufacturing, assembly, integration and test processes in an aerospace production environment, including non-conformance investigation and process qualification.

Tasks

• Lead non-conformance investigation and root cause analysis for product or process deviations
• Oversee quality aspects of manufacturing, assembly, integration and test processes
• Implement and develop quality assurance programs aligned with project milestones
• Establish critical-to-quality features with process engineering and operations
• Moderate process FMEA and execute quality inspections
• Establish process quality documentation and support process qualification
• Contribute to customer and internal audits as quality assurance representative

Profile

• Relevant experience in quality and continuous improvement
• Degree in engineering or a similar relevant discipline preferred
• Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL
• Ability to analyse technical products and systems and their function
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• MS Office experience required
• Fluent in German
• Experience in quality preventive methodology such as 5Why and Ishikawa Fishbone
