• Check customs documents
• Carry out cargo and departure controls
• Check applicable police regulations (security) for vehicles
• Assist in the collection and control of the performance-related heavy vehicle charge (LSVA)
• Perform irregular shift work

This makes you unique

• Federal certificate of competency from at least a three-year basic vocational training, Matura, specialized middle school, or equivalent certificate
• Swiss/Liechtenstein citizenship or settlement permit C
• High willingness to learn and capable; local flexibility; driving license category B
• Willing to wear a uniform
• Very good knowledge of an official language

In a nutshell

You support controls in cross-border traffic and the enforcement of customs regulations in the Basel or Aargau region. In frequent customer contact, you can assert the interests of the BAZG determinedly and convincingly.

Security for the population, economy and state

The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security ensures comprehensive security at the border -- for the well-being of the population, economy and state.
