In the city administration, around 380 employees work, providing comprehensive services to the population daily. The Controlling office in the Finance department is responsible for the financial management of the entire financial budget of the city of Wädenswil. For our team, we are looking for an engaged and analytical personality as a Financial Controller with sub-project management, 80 to 100 % starting February 1, 2027, or by arrangement. Your areas of activity * Participation in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting as well as the multi-year financial plan * Ensuring and further developing the Internal Control System (IKS) and risk management * Creation of sound analyses, key figures, and decision-making bases for internal stakeholders (administration and politics) * Advising executives on finance-relevant issues and preparing decision templates for the department management * Management of (sub-)projects for the further development of financial processes and systems * Support in the annual financial statement process and ensuring data quality * Support and maintenance of master data, further development of evaluations and reporting tools * Participation in the further development of financial controlling into an estimated business partner with recognizable added value for executives. What you bring * Vocational or university degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, or a commercial basic training with further training in controlling * high IT affinity and enthusiasm for data-based solutions (e.g., BI tools, Power Query, Excel) * analytical, conceptual thinking and a high awareness of quality * ability to independently master new topics and implement demanding projects * independent, reliable personality with joy in interdisciplinary cooperation * binding and loyal conduct as well as the willingness to take on responsibility.
