Job Description

Installation electricians are responsible for the assembly and installation of electrical systems in buildings. Their tasks include laying cables, mounting control cabinets, switches, as well as lighting systems, and connecting electrical appliances. Furthermore, they create the connections from the house connection to the sockets and ensure that all installations comply with the applicable safety regulations. This position requires both technical understanding and manual dexterity to execute the various tasks efficiently and safely. Installation electricians often work on construction sites and must be able to read technical plans and implement them accordingly. Teamwork and a careful way of working are also crucial to guarantee the quality of the installations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirement Profile

Preparing installation work:

• Read and understand technical plans.
• Prepare and, if necessary, order material and tools.
• Store and organize material on the construction site.
• Mount the power supply on the construction site and ensure that everything functions properly.
• Determine where sockets, switches, or control cabinets should be installed based on the plans.

Installing devices and systems:

• Install flush-mounted boxes to be used later for device connections.
• Lay conduits in ceilings and walls to ensure a safe and proper installation.
• Lay cables, connect sockets, switches, and control cabinets, while observing technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Install and connect security systems and other electrical devices to ensure the safety of the electrical systems.

Completing electrical installations:

• Check and commission the electrical installations carried out by yourself to ensure that everything works perfectly.
• Use measuring devices to make adjustments for voltage, current, and power to ensure the correct function of the systems.
• Record completed work in reports to ensure complete documentation.
