A leading player in hydroelectricity, it operates across the entire project life cycle, from feasibility studies to commissioning and the rehabilitation of structures. As part of our activities in Switzerland, and particularly in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a dam engineer to join our team of specialized engineers and designers in Martigny, or in Sion. In this position, you will play a crucial role in our current services for the design and improvement of the safety and performance of hydroelectric infrastructures, while contributing to the development and maintenance of strong relationships with our clients. Your expertise will allow for the proposal of innovative, sustainable technical solutions that comply with the most demanding engineering standards. Your tasks and responsibilities will include: • Site analysis and evaluation • Design of retention structures and ancillary works, from the initial design phases to construction projects • Study and design of the raising of existing concrete or embankment structures • Monitoring and instrumentation of existing structures, dam safety assessment studies, and definition of remediation measures • Cost estimation and preparation of implementation budgets • Preparation of tender documents for construction companies, evaluation for award, and preparation of contracts • Proactive collaboration with engineering and modeling teams • Site supervision Required profile • Experience in the design and dimensioning of retention structures • General understanding and knowledge of hydromechanical equipment and instrumentation of retention structures • EPF, Swiss HES engineering degree or deemed equivalent • At least 5 years of proven experience in the context of dam projects • Good knowledge of Swiss standards and directives • Oral and written communication skills in French mandatory. Proficiency in German and English is an asset
