For the real estate department of an up-and-coming Zurich municipality in Glattal, we are looking for a construction and project manager as of 01.01.2027 or by arrangement. The department manages and develops the municipality's own properties, plots, and businesses. The project area manages repair, renewal, conversion, and new construction to ensure the existing stock remains contemporary, sustainable, and user-friendly.

You independently lead small and medium-sized construction projects from the needs assessment to acceptance and handover. For larger projects, you act as the client representative and project management. You coordinate planners, specialist engineers, contractors, and internal departments, monitor execution, costs, quality, and deadlines, and accompany acceptances, defects, and warranty work. This includes decision-making bases and applications to the political bodies as well as participation in budget and investment planning.

Your tasks

• Independent construction and project management of small and medium-sized projects from needs assessment to handover
• Client representation and project management for larger construction projects
• Coordination of planners, specialist engineers, contractors, and internal departments
• Monitoring of execution as well as cost, quality, and deadline control
• Acceptances, defect rectification, and warranty work
• Decision-making bases and applications for political bodies
• Participation in budgeting and investment planning (new construction, renovation, value preservation)
• Further development of project controlling, special assignments

Your profile

• Construction or technical training, for example, Zeichner/in EFZ or Bauleiter/in
• Practice in conversion, new construction, and renovation
• Service-oriented, resilient, proactive, team player
• Enjoyment of multiple parallel projects, flexibility, assertiveness
• Confident appearance, strong communication
• CAD is an advantage
• Workload 80 - 100 %, start 01.01.2027 or by arrangement
