The Asylum and Refugee Affairs Department (DAF) of the Health and Social Department is responsible for the strategic and operational management of asylum and refugee affairs in the canton of Luzern. In the Integration specialist team, you design real future prospects for refugees, even if the path there is not always straightforward. You can count on a pragmatic, open, and committed team that develops solutions together with you. Your tasks • You process the cases in your area of responsibility together with a case-leading person from the social service: With a structured kick-off, you create clarity about rights and obligations and give the integration process a direction from the start with a first situation analysis. • You systematically record the competencies and potentials of your clients, assess their chances on the primary labor market or for vocational basic training, and develop individual integration plans for temporarily admitted persons, refugees, and persons in need of protection from the age of 16. • You work with a strong network of social work, career and career counseling, job coaching, and other specialist agencies and are the central contact person for questions about vocational integration of VA/FL/S. • In cases where no case-leading person from the social service is involved, you take over the case management, advise directly, and ensure that integration measures are not only decided but also implemented. • With your seamless documentation and controlling of integration processes and resource use, you make a strategic contribution to the sustainable work integration of refugees. Your profile • A tertiary degree (HF, FH, or university) forms your technical foundation, supplemented by several years of experience in career counseling, vocational training, or professional integration and in-depth knowledge of the range of services. • In exchange with specialist agencies, you move safely and maintain viable relationships with different stakeholder groups. • In-depth knowledge of social insurance and cantonal structures - from integration promotion to regulatory structures to vocational training and ALV - characterizes you. • You have pronounced communicative and social skills as well as a very good command of German and in-depth consulting skills. Even in challenging consulting situations, you remain calm and have a de-escalating effect. • Just as naturally as you take responsibility for your cases independently, you actively contribute to our interdisciplinary team and contribute to good cooperation.
