Machine Operator with Plant Responsibility 4-Shift

Our client is a traditional company from paper production and processing and has this demanding & interesting role to fill in production. The position is to be filled either within the framework of a Try&Hire or directly in permanent employment.

Your tasks:

• You ensure that safety, environmental, and work specifications are complied with in your shift
• You inform your team as well as the preceding and subsequent shifts about relevant events, changes, and open points
• You plan cleaning work, assign employees, and ensure order and cleanliness in the production area
• You operate and monitor the production plants according to production and quality specifications, including order start, material change, and order completion
• In the event of malfunctions or personnel bottlenecks, you support directly in production and coordinate the necessary steps
• You check orders and plants at the start of the shift as well as during order changes, carry out control rounds, and document or report deviations
• You train new employees, convey work processes in a practical manner, and handle material and operating resources carefully

What you bring with you:

• Experience in a production environment (ideally in the paper industry) and a good understanding of production processes, quality specifications, and occupational safety
• The ability to convey processes to employees in an audience-appropriate manner and pass on information clearly
• Technical understanding for operating, monitoring, and simple troubleshooting of malfunctions on production plants
• Structured, responsible way of working as well as a trained eye for order, cleanliness, and deviations
• Willingness to train new employees, to help out operationally in the event of bottlenecks, and to support across departments
• Experience with shift work and the willingness for 4-Shift
• SUVA-recognized permit for operating equipment (forklift & industrial crane) are of great advantage, but can also be obtained at a later stage
• Flawless German language skills
