Do you think strategically, negotiate confidently, and have a sense for markets and suppliers? Then this exciting position offers you the opportunity to actively help shape the procurement of technical raw materials and make a direct contribution to the development of innovative products.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for defined product groups in the area of raw materials and semi-finished products
• Procurement of chemicals, plastics, adhesives, paper products, and similar materials
• Development and implementation of sustainable procurement strategies
• Ensuring security of supply and optimizing supply chains
• Conducting price, quantity, and contract negotiations
• Building and further developing long-term supplier relationships
• Carrying out supplier evaluations and regular supplier visits
• Market monitoring and analysis of international raw material markets
• Close cooperation with product development, quality management, and operational purchasing
• Support in the development of innovative products and services
• Preparation of relevant market and procurement information for internal stakeholders
• Participation in the optimization of purchasing processes and purchasing concepts
• Use of modern digital procurement tools and generative AI
• Identification and implementation of digitalization potentials in purchasing

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (FH/Uni)
• Further training in purchasing (e.g., Einkaufsfachfrau/-mann or Einkaufsleiter/-in)
• At least 3 years of experience in strategic purchasing of an industrial company
• Ideally experience in the procurement of: plastics, adhesives, paper products, chemicals, or comparable raw materials
• Very good German skills (C1) as well as good English skills (at least B2)
• Very good ERP knowledge and high affinity for digital procurement processes
• Willingness to travel of around 20 % for supplier and plant visits
