The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Departement für Justiz, Sicherheit und Gesundheit of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of various types of detention. In Graubünden, the execution of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified subject area and holistic task, in which various professional categories work interdisciplinary with convicted persons to prevent further delinquency. The Justizvollzugsanstalt (JVA) Realta serves the open penal execution of men according to the Swiss Criminal Code.
