Our client is an established Swiss company in the real estate environment with around 30 employees. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for an experienced personality as Head of Finance, Tax & Real Estate. In this key position, you will assume professional and personnel responsibility for a six-person team and report directly to the ownership. You can expect a versatile task with a lot of personal responsibility and broad scope for design.

Your tasks at the new employer:

• You bear the overall responsibility for the finance and accounting of the corporate group and ensure the correct preparation of the annual financial statements of various companies according to OR
• All tax topics such as corporate and real estate capital gains taxes, withholding tax, as well as value-added tax are your responsibility
• You lead and develop a team of six employees with different professional areas of responsibility and ensure smooth processes within your area
• In day-to-day operations, you work actively, support complex booking and closing questions, and also take over tasks in day-to-day operations yourself if necessary
• You work closely with external partners such as auditing firms, banks, tax authorities, and other specialist offices and act internally as the central contact person for finance and tax questions

You offer your new employer:

• You have completed higher vocational training in the finance, accounting, or fiduciary sector with sound knowledge in accounting and taxes
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable function as well as proven experience in the real estate environment are mandatory for this position
• You have very good knowledge of Swiss accounting according to OR as well as the relevant Swiss tax legislation
• Initial or several years of leadership experience enables you to lead and further develop an experienced team in a clear, appreciative, and professionally competent manner
• Good knowledge of common ERP and accounting systems, ideally Abacus or comparable solutions, as well as confident handling of MS Office, support you in your daily work
• An entrepreneurial mindset, analytical strength, as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality characterize you as much as an independent, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing round off your profile
