Workshop Manager 100%

Here is what you can accomplish:

• You keep the workshop on the right track: you plan and organize the maintenance and repair work of our aerial work platforms and other equipment - and you also roll up your sleeves
• You assume leadership: you lead your team colleagues both technically and personally and ensure good daily collaboration in the workshop
• You search for the cause of breakdowns: with modern diagnostic devices, you systematically check our machines to detect malfunctions and safety defects. Thanks to your quality controls, you ensure their operational availability
• You are also requested on-site: in case of breakdowns and incidents, you assist our customers directly at the intervention site - with a perfectly equipped service vehicle
• You ensure smooth handovers: you guarantee the delivery and return of our aerial work platforms and help to train our renting customers in their use
• You keep an overview: for organizational questions and topics related to the infrastructure of the Birsfelden site, you are the contact person

What you bring:

• A completed basic training in a mechanical trade, for example automotive mechanic, heavy goods vehicle, agricultural machinery or construction machinery, or mechanical fitter
• The pleasure of working with modern technology and the desire to learn new things. Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics is a plus
• The desire to take on leadership responsibilities. Experience in managing a small team is an advantage
• An autonomous, careful and solution-oriented way of working - people can count on you and your work
• Team spirit and pleasure in customer contact
• Very good knowledge of German; knowledge of English is welcome
• Category B driver's license, ideally also BE and C
• Forklift license - or the desire to obtain it
