Commit yourself with us to the vision of a solidary society, as Team Leader and Social Pedagogical Reference Person 80 - 100 % in Uster (m/f/d) Since March 2024, Caritas Schweiz has been running asylum centers for families, individuals and unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (MNA) at currently six locations in the Canton of Zurich on behalf of the Cantonal Social Office Zurich (KSA). In this responsible function, you combine leadership competence with social pedagogical professional work and actively shape the development of the team and young people. Your tasks Leadership tasks Technical and personnel leadership and counseling of the MNA residential group team, solution-oriented intervention in the event of problems, conflicts and challenges Planning of personnel deployment according to personnel requirements planning in coordination with the center management Participation in the recruitment of further personnel in the team Preparation and follow-up as well as conducting team and house meetings including case discussions Promotion of the professional development of employees Representation of the residential group towards internal and external bodies Technical tasks Social pedagogical and psychosocial guidance and care of the young people Promotion of the young people in the various areas of life (school, leisure, health, finances, etc.) with individual, resource- and competence-oriented objectives Crisis intervention and conflict management Our requirements Completed recognized social pedagogical training (or equivalent) Experience in the migration sector and/or youth work desirable Pronounced leadership and communication skills Very good German language skills, further foreign language skills an advantage Intercultural competence Willingness to work varying working hours High sense of responsibility and quality Initiative and independence High resilience, mental strength and assertiveness Good Microsoft Office skills Impeccable reputation Place of work is Canton Zurich (Uster).
