Your tasks:

Become a member of the management of the haute école and actively contribute to shaping the future of the haute école and the institute! As director and professor (also possible in co-direction), you lead the ISAGE and assume responsibilities related to personnel, finance, strategy, and professional aspects management.

• You shape and develop the profile of the institute in accordance with the strategy of the haute école and provide innovative impulses for professional developments in the field of health-related social work
• You are responsible for the quality of the institute's services in teaching at bachelor and master levels as well as in continuing education, research and development, and in the field of services
• You promote an institute culture based on trust, performance, and innovation and actively accompany change processes
• You strengthen networking with science, practice, politics, and other stakeholders at the national and international levels and encourage inter-university collaboration
• As a member of the management of the haute école, you strategically develop the Haute école de travail social FHNW
• You make your own contributions in teaching, research & development, continuing education, or services

Your profile:

You are a proactive, enthusiastic, and charismatic personality with a university degree in social work or in another social science discipline, ideally with a doctorate. Furthermore, you possess:

• Several years of experience in management as well as proven skills in strategic management, economic management, project and change management, with complementary training in management/leadership (university level)
• The ability to successfully lead employees in an organization of experts, to shape development processes, and to promote a culture of trust and collaboration
• An excellent track record in university teaching (initial and continuing education) and in research & development, particularly in project acquisition and implementation, as well as in publication and presentation experience
• In-depth knowledge of the Swiss social and health system
• Practical experience in health-related social work, ideally in one of the institute's current fields of action, as well as knowledge of the related research landscape and professional discourse
• A profound mastery of English and ideally French
