Customs Declarant Import / Export 80-100 %

Area of responsibility:

• Independent & active participation in day-to-day business / processing and tariff classification of import shipments
• Cooperation with the customs office (customs matters & internal customs procedural processes)
• Ensuring high quality and service standards in customs tariff classification and customer consulting
• Correspondence, specialist clarifications and contact maintenance (internal / external)
• Accompanying and supporting customers during implementation and execution

Qualification and requirement:

• Ideally training as a customs declarant and several years of professional experience as well as sound specialist knowledge in the CH customs system and tariff classification
• Good user knowledge in customs system solutions and the MS Office suite
• An upright personality, with a pronounced awareness of quality and customer service, an efficient & independent way of working, thinking and acting flexibly and solution-oriented
• Ability to remain calm, even in hectic times and the ability to prioritize
• Very good communication skills in German and possibly other language skills (F/E)
