At Würth Logistics, you will provide functional leadership to the Group Export Control team, which currently consists of four specialists. Within the Würth Group, the team performs a governance function and works together with various internal group departments to jointly further develop the export control organization of the Würth Group. In this way, you contribute to ensuring that international business activities are processed in compliance with export control laws group-wide. Teamleader Export Control, 100 % Your area of responsibility You lead the Group Export Control team functionally and develop it so that it effectively performs its governance function for the Würth Group. You design the governance for the Trade Compliance Management System of the Würth Group and establish group-wide specifications, guidelines, standards, and control systems. You monitor compliance with national and international export control regulations as well as sanction provisions within the Würth Group and, to this end, conduct controls and audits at the companies. You evaluate goods, technologies, and services from the Würth Group's assortment of over 125,000 items from an export control law perspective and make decisions in critical export processes and escalation cases. You create reports and management reports with key figures on export control and advise the top management of the Würth Group. You support the companies with export control law topics, train employees and managers, and sensitize them to export control law requirements. You observe regulatory developments in foreign trade and ensure that new legal requirements are implemented in the Würth Group. You work in international project teams and support the digitalization and automation of trade compliance processes. Your profile You have completed training or a degree with a focus on logistics or foreign trade and possess sound knowledge of regulations, rules, and laws in international trade. You bring several years of professional experience in export control and have functionally led teams and projects. You think and work in a process- and solution-oriented manner and are able to address different tasks, requirements, and stakeholders across departments. Your communicative and social competencies enable you to work successfully in an intercultural environment and build trust with stakeholders. You attentively follow the regularly changing rules, regulations, and laws in international trade and constantly continue your education. You communicate orally and in writing in stylistically confident German and at a very good level in English. You are willing to travel to other Würth locations, mostly in Germany, for team and project meetings – about 10 percent of your working time.
