HEAD OF METHODS AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SECTION
Les Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) in Aigle employ more than
400 collaborators and manage four regional railway lines, as well as a bus network extending over many Vaud and Valais municipalities.
As part of our company's growth as well as the development of our transport offer, a new organization of our Fleet unit is going to be implemented in order to better respond to the evolving maintenance needs of our rail and road rolling stock.
In this context, we are looking for a:
HEAD OF METHODS AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SECTION (80-100 %)
YOUR MISSION
You lead your section and, in this capacity, you ensure the management of personnel (approx. 6 people) and are responsible for the methods and processes related to the maintenance activities of our rail and road fleet. You supervise the planning of the maintenance program, methods, and support activities for the maintenance teams. Furthermore, you coordinate outsourced services, negotiate and validate orders with providers, and manage the execution of outsourced services. You organize and manage your section's activity by demonstrating proactivity as well as rigor in the application of methods. You supervise the execution of activities in terms of compliance with safety standards (OFT, DE-OCF, SAN, manufacturer specifications), deadlines, and costs. In addition, you manage the reporting and performance of the Fleet unit (indicators, dashboards, performance reviews). You identify and apply continuous improvement opportunities. Finally, you create the necessary synergies with other entities of the company to ensure good coordination and communication.
YOUR PROFILE
Having benefited from basic training in a technical field, you have completed your professional curriculum with higher education (federal diploma or ES diploma) in the field of maintenance, work planning, or equivalent. Furthermore, you have several years of experience in rail, vehicle, or industrial maintenance. Experience in planning maintenance activities or in methods, as well as knowledge of the public transport field, are assets. Methodical, autonomous and proactive, you know how to organize your activity, define priorities and adapt planning to the constraints encountered. Your capacity for analysis and synthesis, your global vision as well as your sense of cooperation allow you to interact effectively with many partners.
