Nurse EISO (Interprofessional Team Specialized in Oncology) / 80% / permanent contract

In collaboration with the Oncology Department of HUG and with the aim of improving outpatient and home care for patients with cancer, IMAD is creating a pilot project to develop a home care device specialized in adult oncology, based on a joint IMAD-HUG clinical pathway to improve continuity of care and home care for people with cancer, currently being treated at HUG. The team will exercise a very broad and complex activity, both clinically and socially, psychically and environmentally, for the client. The EISO team will also have the mission of building close ties with the specific Geneva oncology network (for example: the HUG Oncology Department, the League against cancer, OTIUM). Your missions and responsibilities Respond effectively to the specific care of the EISO team by dispensing technically complex nursing care autonomously and on medical delegation to adult clients with an oncological pathology, usually dispensed in a hospital setting Provide personalized and comprehensive care to adult clients with an oncological pathology, taking into account their direct and social environment, psychological constraints. Assess any needs such as dietary or occupational therapy Exercise a role of situation referent and act in accordance with the principles of the nursing code of ethics Participate in the institutional mission to promote home maintenance in a stimulating framework for our clients by developing interprofessional and interrelational relationships with the different teams integrated into the project Develop links and interactions with the actors of the specific Geneva oncology network (for example: the HUG Oncology Department, the League against cancer, OTIUM). Bachelor's degree in nursing, authorization to practice in the canton CAS in oncology with proven appetite for the field Minimum two years of professional experience in home care Dexterity in technical care Ability to adapt, be flexible and reactive Great relational ease, ability to manage stress and sense of responsibility Knowledge of the Geneva oncology network would be an asset Ability to work autonomously as well as in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional team Mobility is essential (bike/car).
