For our client, a successful, internationally active industrial company with a holding and management company in Baar, we are looking for a Group Project Controller with entrepreneurial thinking and a desire to shape things.

In this newly created position, you will support the Chief Growth Officer in close cooperation with various stakeholders and in coordination with the CFO in the financial management of strategic growth initiatives and internal projects – from the creation of sound business cases to the success control of implementation. As a sparring partner for management, you will create transparency, question existing processes and provide sound, data-based decision-making foundations.

We are looking for a committed personality with at least three years of experience in controlling or analysis who wants to take on responsibility and actively help shape the next growth phase of the company.

Your tasks

• Creation and evaluation of business cases for strategic initiatives and growth projects including financial scenarios, CAPEX, OPEX and expected returns
• Consolidation and analysis of financial, operational and market-related data as well as creation of financial plans, budgets and forecasts
• Holistic controlling of strategic projects and investments with regard to costs, resources, commitments, milestones and goal achievement
• Early identification of deviations, risks and opportunities as well as development and tracking of suitable corrective measures
• Monitoring the implementation of approved investments and ensuring the realization of planned financial and operational added values
• Creation of meaningful reports, KPI evaluations and management presentations as well as development and maintenance of Power-BI dashboards

Your profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration or a comparable field of study
• At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Business Analysis or projects
• Sound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial evaluation as well as the ability to link financial data, operational developments and strategic goals
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, paired with a high degree of independence and convincing stakeholder management
• Very good ERP and Excel knowledge, ideally experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI
• Very good German and English skills
