The employer is looking for a: School catering service worker (reported profession) Tasks: • ordinary and extraordinary cleaning of the building • laundry and mending work • report any breakdowns, technical problems or needs for products related to the structure or the machinery/equipment in use to the site caretaker • collaboration with teachers for the smooth running of school activities • compliance with hygienic standards and regulations on occupational health and safety Requirements: • suitability and predisposition for employment in a school context and ease in contacting minors • ease in performing manual work and in finding practical solutions • ability to use the products, machinery and tools necessary for the execution of the activity • willingness to learn new ways of working • practical sense, spirit of initiative and aptitude for working independently or in a group • orientation towards quality, spirit of innovation • discreet, correct and reliable person • good knowledge of the Italian language • flexibility to perform other tasks as needed, such as catering service, meal service, assistance to students • availability to travel between different school sites • availability to participate in internal and/or external training courses • driving license cat.B • owner of a vehicle Employment details: • workplace Lugano • occupation 60-70% • start of employment on 31.08.2026 for an indefinite period • salary conditions to be agreed upon COMPETITION: school catering service workers at the Amministrazione comunale (competition valid for the year 2026)
