Your responsibility:

• You support the departments in the planning and implementation of IT projects, coordinate project processes and resources, and ensure smooth project documentation and cooperation
• Shaping digitalization: You plan, control, and realize demanding digitalization projects -- from project initialization and solution conception to successful introduction.
• Driving projects: You lead interdisciplinary project teams and bring together different perspectives, interests, and competencies.
• Networking people and partners: You work in close exchange with CDO, DTM, departments, internal and external specialist offices, service providers, and committees.
• Ensuring success: You keep an eye on budget, deadlines, and quality, and ensure transparency with professional reporting and risk management.
• Realizing potentials: You enable new digital business processes with digitalization solutions.
• Rethinking processes: You support the optimization of workflows and accompany their sustainable transformation -- with a view to efficiency, quality, and customer orientation.
• Enabling change: Together with the digitalization team of the Sicherheitsdirektion, you actively accompany employees and organizational units in cultural change and create acceptance for new ways of working.

Your background:

• University or FH degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in leading demanding projects, ideally in a digitalization environment
• Strong communication, leadership, and moderation skills as well as a confident and convincing appearance
• Experience in the collection, modeling, and documentation of business processes
• Understanding of administrative processes and legal frameworks
• Analytical, structured, and simultaneously pragmatic way of working
• Enjoyment in initiating changes, developing solutions, and winning people over for them
• Readiness to acquire the Advanced certification in the project management method HERMES

Generalsekretariat / IT

The Generalsekretariat of the Sicherheitsdirektion with its approximately 53 employees is the staff office of the head of the Sicherheitsdirektion and acts as a coordination and control office for the entire directorate. It is divided into the following departments: Familie, Integration und Dienste; Support; Betriebswirtschaft; Human Ressource; Rechtssetzung; Kommunikation; Swisslos-Fonds und Aufsicht KESB/ SchK.

What you should also know

Together with our Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and the Digital Transformation Manager (DTM), you shape the foundations for a modern, networked, and service-oriented Sicherheitsdirektion. In the PM+ project management team of the Informatik of the Sicherheitsdirektion (IT SID), you take on a central role: in close cooperation with CDO and DTM, you question existing processes, recognize potentials, develop viable solutions, and successfully bring demanding digitalization projects into implementation.
For this, we are looking for an open-minded, committed, and solution-oriented personality who takes responsibility, enjoys networked work, and actively implements changes.
