The kitchen of the Tagesbetreuung Laubegg cooks for around 800 children and adolescents per week. In accordance with the guidelines of Fourchette Verte, balanced, sustainable, and regional dishes are prepared, which are specially adapted to the needs of children and adolescents. The kitchen supplies the local branch as well as 3 other locations with their food.

At the Direktion für Bildung, Soziales und Sport, the person is at the center. The Tagesbetreuung is a voluntary family-supplementary childcare offering for school children in the city of Bern.
What you move
You will go through all stations in the kitchen and visit various exciting locations during your training
You learn various cooking and preparation techniques
You learn everything about the products, from delivery to serving, how they are stored and processed
You learn how to ensure hygiene in the kitchen
What you bring
You have completed Real- or Sekundarschule
You are interested in food and enjoy cooking, and have a good sense of smell and taste
You enjoy working in a team and enjoy interacting with children and adolescents
You like things to be clean and tidy
You are fit and are able to work predominantly standing up
