The University Clinic for Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at Inselspital is a renowned clinic for conventional and operative treatments of the musculoskeletal system. It maintains outpatient clinics in five specialized areas: hip and pelvis, spinal surgery, shoulder, elbow and sports surgery, knee joint surgery, ankle and foot surgery, tumor orthopaedics.

What awaits you ##

• Surgical planning (scheduling, summoning patients, coordination and organization with all involved offices and departments)
• Planning of the outpatient clinic/polyclinic (scheduling, summoning patients, coordination and organization with all involved offices)
• General administrative tasks
• Processing of insurance inquiries, billing and settlement of outpatient medical services
• Dispatch and completion of medical reports

What you bring with you ##

• Commercial or medical basic training (clerk, MPA, pharma assistant, etc.), ideally with further training as a Med. Secretary
• Proficient use of MS-Office (Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage
• Stylistically confident German and good oral French skills
• Flexibility and resilience, even in hectic times
• Initiative as well as sense of responsibility, independent and solution-oriented working
• Communication skills and teamwork skills
