The Syntegon Packaging Systems AG in Beringen (SH) is a company of the Syntegon Group and offers a comprehensive portfolio of packaging solutions for the confectionery and food industry. At this location, more than 700 employees develop and produce innovative, customer-specific packaging and handling systems for demanding high-performance applications.
Job Description
As a competent and loyal ambassador of our company, you will commission packaging machines and systems in-house and subsequently at our customers' sites around the globe. It is the ideal job to start your professional life after graduation and to gain international experience, which will later open up many development opportunities within our company.
Primarily, you are responsible for the internal and external commissioning of packaging machines (hardware and software). The range of tasks extends from assembly and test runs to fine-tuning the software or the acceptance run of our complex machines.
During service and troubleshooting assignments, you know how to skillfully and quickly locate problems and develop solutions with the support of the technical departments.
You assist in the optimization and further development of the complex packaging machines.
The instruction and training of customer personnel internally and externally in German and English rounds off this unusual and challenging task.
The worldwide travel activity is approx. 40 %. Assembly assignments usually last between 3 and 8 weeks.
Qualifications
You bring a technical vocational training and a completed degree as a FH Engineer or TS Technician in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
You possess PLC user knowledge and practical experience in the field of automation and/or electrical engineering.
As a resilient and travel-loving team player, you show talent for improvisation and the courage for unconventional solutions.
Teamwork skills, communication skills, and a flair for other countries and cultures characterize you.
An independent, self-responsible, and solution-oriented way of acting as well as fluent German and English are considered essential for professional interaction with our international customers.
